A Teach-in and Speak-out

against the US War Program

 

 

The US government has declared that the American people must accept the prospect of decades of war in pursuit of the so called "war against international terrorism." In response to the escalation of militarism, war and the imminent invasion of Iraq, millions of people have come out to demand peaceful resolutions of international differences.

PURPOSE OF TEACH-IN: to open up space for people to discuss and analyze the burning issues of war and peace, and to examine the root causes of the US war program.

FOCUS: the Persian Gulf and the Middle East

SPECIFIC TOPICS

When: Saturday afternoon, 1:00-5:00 p.m., March 15th, 2003.

Where: North Central College, Heininger Auditorium, Naperville. Heininger Auditorium is on the main floor of Larrance Academic Center, 309 E. School Street (on the corner of School Street and Brainard Street). Parking is available behind the building.
