Chuck Hall, a veteran of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade and chair of the Chicago Friends of the Lincoln Brigade (CFLB), plans on coming to the DuPage Peace Through Justice Coalition's Just Views showing of The Good Fight. He's willing to speak briefly about his experiences in the Lincoln Brigade and answer questions. This will be a special event; one that you won’t want to miss.

JUST VIEWS: THE GOOD FIGHT. June 14 at 7:20 p.m.
Join the DuPage Peace Through Justice Coalition to view and discuss a relevant video on most "second Fridays." This month’s film, The Good Fight, tells the story of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade, Americans who volunteered to fight fascism in the Spanish Civil War (1936-39). Mixing historical footage with interviews with veterans, it explores the variety of reasons Americans identified with the Spanish Republic and shows what it was like to be a part of a people's army in a war against fascism that was the dress rehearsal for World War II. Branded "premature antifascists" when they returned home, many veterans were blacklisted during the McCarthy era. Narrated by Studs Terkel. "Passionate and engrossing" (Richard Corliss, *Time Magazine*). "The best advertisement for the spirit of survival" (J. Hoberman, *The Village Voice*).

Video starts at 7:30.  DuPage Unitarian Universalist Church: 4 S 535 Old Naperville Road, Naperville (1 block S of Route 88, several blocks N of Ogden).
